Originally from Texas, Lisa moved to San Diego with a desire to enter the pet industry in any way possible. She has been a visual artist her entire life and wasn’t quite sure how to combine her love of dogs and art until becoming a Pet Technician (fancy term for doggie babysitter) for a local dog daycare. The daycare also offered grooming services, which sparked the idea that dogs could be *art*! Thus, she honed in on a trajectory that ultimately ended at dog grooming school.
Along this trajectory, Lisa has developed an understanding of natural pet health and believes that diet and nutrition is an important part of your pet’s skin and coat health. She also understands that as pet parents, our pups’ well-being is of utmost importance. She promises to make every effort possible to make their grooming experience as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
Speaking of furbabies, you may be wondering, “Who is Olive?” Lisa rescued her own four-legged best friend, Olive, from the San Diego Humane Society in 2016 and it’s been an adventure ever since. Olive, a terrier mix, is her biking buddy, creative inspiration and daily reminder to live in the moment.
