Our Pet Bakery Story
Paw Pleasers has been delighting pets and the people who love them for more than 30 years. What began as one of San Diego's first pet-sitting businesses quickly grew into one of the area's first specialty pet bakeries. We started by baking homemade cookies for our four-legged clients, and before long, those treats became the foundation of the Paw Pleasers you know today.
Growing With Our Community
Our first bakery opened in the heart of Hillcrest, where we proudly served the community for seven years. When Wells Fargo expanded into the area, it was time for a new chapter. We soon fell in love with North Park and have proudly called it home ever since, continuing to create fresh-baked treats and memorable moments for pets and their families.
Every cake, cookie, and frozen treat is baked and decorated in our North Park or Chula Vista bakery using thoughtfully selected, human-grade ingredients. Our grain-free cakes are crafted with pet-friendly recipes, while our non-dairy, lactose-free frosting creates a delicious finishing touch that both dogs and cats can enjoy.
From custom-shaped cakes to personalized photo cakes, we love creating one-of-a-kind treats that reflect your pet's unique personality. Our team is always happy to help you design something special for birthdays, gotcha days, holidays, and every milestone in between.
Beyond our bakery, you'll also find a carefully selected collection of pet food, toys, leashes, collars, and other everyday essentials. If you're looking for something specific, we're always happy to accommodate special orders whenever possible.
Two Convenient Locations
In 2022, we expanded with our Chula Vista location, bringing the same fresh-baked treats, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere to even more local pet families. Along with our bakery favorites, this location features convenient self-wash dog tubs, making it easy to freshen up your pup after a day at the beach, the park, or your favorite outdoor adventure.
